Convergence – Mass-personalized content

What exactly is happening because of convergence of media is the mass-personalized content is being created.
E.g just read any news published on news website. Any website provides users ample space to comment. Thus news content is created for masses but by allowing readers to comment at the same time personalized content is created which can not be separated from the news and at the same time the personalized content becomes accessible to the masses
